Moira Trojans: A Football Legacy
Opened in 1969 on Farley Avenue, Moira Secondary School fielded a football program that became a consistent force in Bay of Quinte and COSSA competition for nearly five decades. The Trojans regularly advanced through regional playoffs, including a COSSA AAA championship final appearance in 2014. Moira's athletic culture ran deep, producing players who went on to compete at the post-secondary level and reflected a broader school tradition of competitive excellence that spanned multiple sports. When Moira closed in 2019, it left behind a proud gridiron legacy woven into the fabric of Belleville sports history.
