A Legacy of Home-Grown Excellence
In the late 1950s and early 1960s, the Belleville Kenmors stood as the standard-bearers of Ontario amateur baseball. Built almost entirely from home-grown talent developed through the Belleville Minor Baseball Association, the Kenmors captured two Provincial Championships, the Junior title in 1960 and the Senior crown in 1962. No Belleville team has ever matched that achievement. The club eventually disbanded in 1969, by then competing as the Joyces in the Inter County Baseball League. Inducted into the Belleville Sports Hall of Fame in 2017, the Kenmors remain a proud symbol of what local athletic community can produce.
